1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Tayp application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Service Description

Tayp is a mobile wallet top-up platform that allows users to:

  • Remotely top up mobile wallets (Nita, AmanaTa) for recipients in West Africa
  • Send wallet credits instantly via Mobile Money
  • Pay securely using European bank cards (Visa, Mastercard)
  • Track their top-up history and manage beneficiary contacts

Tayp acts as a technology platform facilitating wallet top-ups. The actual wallet credit operations are executed by our licensed partner Nita in Niger. Tayp does not itself hold, transfer, or transmit funds.

3. Account Creation and Verification

To use our services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide accurate and complete personal information
  • Complete identity verification (KYC) via our partner Veriff for top-ups exceeding applicable thresholds
  • Keep your login credentials (PIN code, biometric access) confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account

We reserve the right to refuse account creation or suspend accounts that fail identity verification or are suspected of fraudulent activity.

4. Fees and Pricing

  • Tayp charges a service fee of 1.7% of the top-up amount + €0.25 per transaction
  • All fees are clearly displayed before confirming each transaction
  • Exchange rates are provided in real-time and may vary
  • Payments are processed securely via Stripe
  • Confirmed top-ups are generally irreversible once the wallet credit has been delivered

5. Transaction Limits

  • Unverified accounts: limited to €150 per month
  • Verified accounts (KYC completed): up to €500 per transaction
  • Tayp reserves the right to adjust limits based on regulatory requirements

6. User Obligations

You agree not to:

  • Use our services for any unlawful purposes, including money laundering or fraud
  • Provide false identity information or impersonate another person
  • Attempt to circumvent security measures or reverse engineer the application
  • Use the service in violation of applicable laws, including sanctions regulations
  • Transmit viruses, malware, or any harmful software
  • Abuse the service to artificially generate transaction volume

7. Refunds and Disputes

Once a wallet top-up has been successfully delivered to the recipient's mobile wallet, the transaction is generally final. Refund requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis in the following situations:

  • Technical failure where the wallet credit was not received by the recipient
  • Duplicate transactions caused by a system error
  • Unauthorized transactions (after investigation)

To request a refund, contact our support team at support@tovopay.com within 30 days of the transaction.

8. Limitation of Liability

Tayp shall not be liable for:

  • Delays or failures in wallet credit delivery caused by our partner's infrastructure (Nita, AmanaTa)
  • Service disruptions due to mobile network issues in the recipient's country
  • Technical malfunctions beyond our reasonable control
  • Losses arising from misuse of your account credentials
  • Incorrect recipient wallet numbers provided by the user
  • Indirect or consequential damages

9. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time directly from the Tayp app (Profile > Delete Account) or by contacting us at support@tovopay.com. Upon account deletion:

  • Your personal data will be deleted within 30 days
  • Transaction records may be retained for up to 5 years for regulatory compliance
  • Any pending transactions will be completed before account closure

10. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue our services at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via the app or email with reasonable advance notice when possible.

11. Account Suspension

We may suspend or terminate your account in case of:

  • Violation of these Terms of Service
  • Suspected fraudulent, unauthorized, or abusive activity
  • Failure to complete required identity verification
  • Request from legal or regulatory authorities
  • Account inactivity for more than 24 months

12. Applicable Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of London.
